FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What wax is used in candles?
We use soy wax for our candles.
What kind of material are your jars made from?
Most of the containers we use are borosilicate heat-resistant containers for your candles. This can also be customised to a different material of your choice.
Aren’t all soy wax candles the same?
Unfortunately, no. We use the best grade of soy wax in our products. There are multiple cheap varieties of wax available in the market claiming to be soy wax but are cheaper a palm wax quality as they look similar.
Do you use essential oils?
We use high-quality, clean fragrance oils that are specifically made for candles and contain essential oil components. In addition, all of our fragrances are free of phthalates, parabens, and a list of other undesirable chemicals known to cause cancer and other health issues.
What about dyes or other additives?
Nope, and nope. Our candles are soy wax and fragrance oil only, and we use cotton wicks free of metal, zinc and lead.
What size candle do I need for my space?
A single candle works great in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and typically-sized living or workspaces. Larger rooms with high ceilings or open floor plans may need multiple candles for the best fragrance permeation. You can have multiple candles of the same fragrance or mix and match to create your unique blend.
Can your containers be reused?
Of course. Once there is about 1/4 inch of wax left, you can stop using the candle. Use caution and care when removing the remaining wax, wicks and any labelling on the container. We suggest gently scraping our the wax and wicks/ wick stickers with a rigid silicone utensil. We do not recommend using knives or other metal items.Discard all the wax in the trash- never put wax down the drain or garbage disposal. Then place the container in hot soapy water to soften the residue, labels, wash, rinse and dry. Please note: We assume no liability for candle containers or subsequent results of reuse by the consumer, once purchased.Â
